The kids are driving my wife nuts and she is driving me the same!
They do not listen very well and behave poorly in public, this causes trouble with wife and me
She wants to not take them at all because of this, I say take them so they get used to it. The answer lies in the middle somewhere..but how far and to what side?
Alex and I go to Monster Jam tomorrow....My wife got tickets..she thinks I am more redneck then I may be at heart. I am sure it will be fun, but I wonder about Alex and his ears. Maybe earplugs?
Matt is a little shit! But he will not take one unless he has a pull-up on. He has gone in the potty 2 or 3 times, but is not there yet. Worst part is he tells us in public and we kinda ignore him. Need to move him up the priority ladder higher then potatoes methinks.
The cat is crazy! Almost a yr we have had him, he has asthma, but not in wintertime? I think he has hayfever all summer and we spent $$$ on shots for this shit we do not need in the cold. Anybody in Alaska need a housecat....cuddly but crazy?
My wife has been going to the gym like nuts, I must say I envy her commitment. It messes with my life and days at work somtimes, but she feels better and I love her more for it. I need to get back to that myself..I had a workout partner lined up, but I turned the offer down because of .. complications that may have arisen.
I need to get off my ass and do it..maybe after next week when work slows some. Also need to figure out if the NLP tapes are working or I take naps and think I am happier for it.
I ran over on this one, but I will get better!

5 mins about Work 01-08-2011
Thought I would start something a little new this year and try to blog more..not for any other reason then I like writing things down.
Work
We are going to need more GMs soon. We have a store opening in 90 days and need 2 GMs. We have a list of 4+1 that could get the job, but we only need 2. The +1 is an AGM wanting to move up. Out of the other 4, 3 were GMs, 1 presently is. My boss wants to move up 2, fire the others....Or at least that is what he said.
Likely we will keep at least 3 out of 4 and maybe even move the +1 up. Not for the worst, but I just wish we would really fire folks sometimes. It sends a message keeping them never can.
I get to work with 1 guy and the +1 guy since they are both mine. The 1 used to be my AGM way back when. He has issues to deal with, and it is my job to work on them:

- professionalism
- accountability
- golden rule violations
- dress code
- etc..
This is a 5 min blog post...no time to go into detail, but it seems he has developed a $$ issue, wherein his store is off $ if he is there. I need to address this ASAP. My phone just told me he was not off today, that is a relief!
The +1 is immature and hotheaded. I worry about him moving up because he seems to dislike everything and everyone around him at work. Despite all this, he describes himself as "chill", whatever the fuck that means to him. To me it means relaxed.....he is not and I am out of time
