So I am trying Last.fm Everybody I work with uses Pandora, but for the life of me I just don't like it. I tried, but the radio bugged me. It just did not work for me, but I know my tastes are odd. I like a ton of music, but it moves around a lot. I also jump from track to track during listening if I am not doing anything else - so I find I do not "listen" to music for fun.
I have really been letting last.fm read from amarok what I have and have heard for now. We shall see

Using Kubuntu 8.04
I thought I would put up some thoughts of mine on Kubuntu. I decided to follow the advice of http://consumer.hardocp.com/article.html?art=MTI5OCwxLCxoY29uc3VtZXI=
and Morgan Spurlock. I decided once I got most everything set my way and running, I would not boot into XP unless I was unable to accomplish the task in Kubuntu.
Results. Since Xmas I think I have used XP 3 or 4 times, always for dvd ripping and duplication. Not for burning them really, but I was there already and Nero works for me too.

Computer Wonder
So I "gave up" XP a while back....4 months or so. I live a life that passes fast, sue me. It is not a fun, heiress lifestyle with lots of parties and social engagements. I have a wife, 2 kids and a mroe then full time job. I found this is fun to do, but not top of my daily list.
Anyway, I now use Kubuntu 8.04 for damn near everything. I cheated on the install....I put a 100GB partition for linux when I built this system. I had Kubuntu on hear then, but it broke (i broke it) and I had to reinstall.
I really love it, but I geek out a lot more then the average guy.
